Speech had its first tournament this weekend at the Back to the Nest Tournament in Illinois, and represented Wisconsin well, dominating in the limited prep events!
On Day 1, Izzy and Lily S took 1st and 2nd in Extemporaneous Speaking, respectively, and Lily S placed 6th in Impromptu Speaking.
Day 2 saw similar wins with Izzy placing 5th in Impromptu and Lily S taking home 1st place in Extemp and 3rd in Impromptu, earning her a qualification for the American Forensics National Tournament!
