Our debate team had their first tournament just a few weeks ago and Wisconsin showed up big! We sent a whopping five teams to compete at the Wheaton Debate Tournament in Wheaton, Illinois. Our debaters had a blast competing and had great competitive success.
Special congratulations to Emily & Brian, who broke as the top team to the final round where they debated fantastically agaisnt the competition. Our speakers also demonstrated their abilities, taking home various speaker awards. Congrats to: Lucy (4th Open), Emily (5th Open), Zach (7th Open), Shannon (10th Open & 1st Novice), and Bella (2nd Novice)! Lastly, thank you to Ben and Patrick for judging.
